Notices

Not racing but still want to participate? Volunteers are still needed please sign up on our volunteers page

Pre-Race Meeting: All entrants, Individual or Team, Open or Youth, must attend at 4 pm Saturday July 31st at Lakeside Park, Nelson.  Must be in attendance for Prize Draws.  For more information see the "Entry Fees" page.

It may be very hot on Sunday so its a good idea to start hydrating now.

If you need to drive to the race please park on or above 4th street,  If you are dropping someone off please drop them off well away from Lakeside Park, the playing fields near Save on would be a good option.

The first rule of triathlon is knowing the course before you start.  Please don't expect a volunteer to know its your responsibility. Fly the course with the Google Earth file on the "Course" page.  Attend the pre race meeting on Saturday afternoon and get the low down on all your unanswered questions.

TRI Canada's race rules apply as well as some of our local variations so please read them over.  See "The Course" page.

Be good to the volunteers, please show your appreciation as they are the BEST!

"There are those of us who are always about to live. We are waiting until things change, until there is more time, until we are less tired, until we get a promotion, until we settle down / until, until, until. It always seems as if there is some major event that must occur in our lives before we begin living."     George Sheehan

Welcome Athletes!
